Featuring presentations by experts in the field, the medical symposium is a unique opportunity for medical professionals to come together to hear nationally respected speakers present on controversial, thought-provoking topics, and current research findings.

The National Kidney Foundation is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. AAPA accepts Category I credit from AOACCME, prescribed credit from AAFP, and AMA Category 1 Credit(s)™ from organizations accredited by ACCME. Physician assistants may receive a maximum of 3.75 hours of Category I credit for completing this program.
The National Kidney Foundation is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited Provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). CDR Credentialed Practitioners will receive 3.75 Continuing Professional Education Units (CPEUs) for completion of this activity/material.
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, the National Kidney Foundation is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. The National Kidney Foundation maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing this course receive 3.75 continuing education credits.
Licensed social workers should contact their individual jurisdiction to review current continuing education requirements for licensure renewal.
The National Kidney Foundation is accredited as a provider of continuing transplant education by the American Board for Transplant Certification: CEPTC Provider Number #170. This activity is pending approval.
