Development of a Predictive Energy Equation for MHD Patients
Upon completion of this activity you will be able to:
- Recognize that predictive energy equations including selective demographic, clinical, and anthropometric data explained less than 50% variance of measured resting energy expenditure but had better precision in determining energy requirements for MHD patients when compared with the Mifflin-St. Jeor equation
