After participation in this activity, learners will be better able to:
- Participant will be able to discuss factors contributing to Protein Energy Wasting (PEW) unique to PD patients
- Participant will be able to discuss published literature elucidating the markers of visceral and somatic protein stores as predictive of mortality
- Participant will be able to discuss nutrition interventions for PEW in PD patients and expert recommendations as well as interventions with clinical benefits in alternative PD solutions
