Kidney Stones: What Does the Practitioner Need to Know?

According to NHANES estimates of 16% males and 8% of females in the general population were diagnosed with kidney stones in 2016.  Stone management cost over 2 Billion per year to manage (AJKD 2016). This live webinar will focus on the identification and management of different types of kidney stones with dietary interventions, and medical management options.  The focus of treating kidney stones is to prevent the recurrence of future episodes.

  • Discuss treatment options for managing kidney stones
  • Assess appropriate dietary interventions for patients with kidney stones
