CME Program Mission Statement

The mission of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Continuing Education (CE) Program is to assist members of the interprofessional healthcare team in nephrology and other specialties impacted by kidney disease in their pursuit of life-long learning toward providing high quality healthcare. See More…

CME Program Accreditation

NKF has been granted Joint Accreditation status by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide accredited continuing education for the healthcare team.

NKF is also accredited by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) as a provider of continuing education for dieticians and socials workers. In addition, NKF will facilitate approval for advanced care practice nurses and family physicians through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Family Physicians respectively.
